Job Description:

Full competency in risk management procedures
a.Competency in ROF/RAOF/Budget Hours/Independence Check/Application for AFS/CRM search/CAQ/AAQ/Prep of Engagement Letters/Obtaining billing details and fee agreements.

Planning, researching and preparation of advice for client
a.Liaise with manager re fees to be charged appropriate to advice required
b.Liaise with 4 eyes reviewers in advance, and obtain a 4 eyes review for all client reports/emails
c.Obtain final review from manager regarding any communication sent to client
d.Communicate with client – including updates – promptly
e.At the outset, question whether enough information given and liaise to determine whether additional is needed
f.Seek opinion of senior colleagues re assignment (those with specific expertise in a particular field)
g.Seek instruction, feedback and coaching from manager, and 4 eyes reviewers
h.Show active action of feedback and coaching
i.Recognise problems, and seek guidance to avert
j.Take responsibility for own learning and progression
k.Work with others (manager, other seniors) to identify areas that client may not recognise/have highlighted.

Meet deadlines set by manager/assistant manager
a.Liaise to set realistic targets/deadlines (SMART)
b.Prioritise work
c.Offer assistance to other team members
d.At an early stage, advise manager of problems that may compromise a deadline.

Demonstrate an organised way of working, and maintain team standards
a.Set up and maintenance of client files in team format
b.Use of standard templates
c.Be able to update on current assignments readily
d.Select, agree with manager, and use the most appropriate interface for communication – email/face to face/ phone etc
e.Utilise knowledge gained from previous assignments to current ones
f.Prepare concise, well written documents – using appropriate business and technical language
g.Be logical and understandable – explain if necessary.
h.Always consider – could another person follow this file in my absence.

PCD system
a.Full Compliance with system, deadlines met.
b.On a quarterly basis seek feedback through the PCD system form 4 eyes reviewers, manager, and assistant manager, and senior consultants – regarding specific projects worked on or generally, as a whole.

Share knowledge gained with others
a.Participate fully in team discussions
b.Develop and earn trust of team members

Specific Tasks
a.Dealing with daily correspondence and drafting responses for review by manager/senior
b.Holding standard entry/exit meetings by phone with assignees
c.Salary tax calculations
d.Organizing RM with Admin Assistant
